The product
LawKona is practice management software for Nigerian law firms and chambers. It keeps every brief in one matter file — parties, a conflict check, deadlines for every state and the FCT, documents, court notes, tasks, and money — and reminds the lawyers on the file of every date, with tenancy notices that reach tenants by email and WhatsApp after a lawyer approves. It adds a full tenancy desk for property practice, a client trust ledger kept apart from the firm’s fees, invoices clients can pay online in Naira, and a private client portal. Chambers start free and move to a paid plan, priced per chamber, as they grow.
The problem it solves
Most Nigerian chambers run on WhatsApp, Excel, and paper. Deadlines are counted by hand, drafts are retyped, conflicts are checked from memory, and client money sits in the same book as fees. LawKona puts the whole file in one place, so nothing depends on one lawyer’s phone or notebook.
