LawKona is law firm software for Nigerian chambers, provided by Crown Softech Ltd (“we”, “us”). When a firm creates a LawKona account, the firm accepts these terms on behalf of everyone it invites to its workspace.

Give accurate details when you register and keep them up to date. Each person must use their own login and keep their password private. The chamber’s principal decides who is invited and what role each person has, and the firm is responsible for activity under its accounts. Tell us at support@lawkona.com straight away if you think an account has been misused.

Use LawKona only for lawful legal practice. Do not:

• try to reach another chamber’s data, or test, overload, or get around our security;
• upload malware, or content you have no right to hold or share;
• send messages to people you have no lawful basis to contact;
• resell or rent out access to LawKona, or use it to publish public property listings.

Your chamber’s data belongs to your firm. Your firm is the data controller and is responsible for having a lawful basis for what it collects, including tenant consent at intake. We process the data only to provide LawKona, as described in our privacy notice.

LawKona helps you work out deadlines and draft, approve, and send notices. It does not replace a lawyer’s judgment. You remain responsible for checking every deadline and document, and for serving notices in the way the law requires — an email or WhatsApp message sent through LawKona is not, by itself, proof of proper service. Starter templates are starting points to adapt, not finished documents.

Plans, prices, and limits are shown on our pricing page. Prices are in Naira and charged per chamber. You can pay monthly or yearly through our payment processor. Payments do not renew automatically: each one covers the period you paid for.

Each plan has a limit on seats and properties. Reaching a limit never removes data you have already added; to add more you move to a larger plan. We may change prices; a change applies from your next payment, and we will show it on the pricing page first.

Payments are not refundable except where the law requires it or we agree otherwise. If you think you were charged in error, email support@lawkona.com.

Student / Clinic access is for law students and legal clinics. We check eligibility using your matric number, year of admission, and student ID, and access ends on the date worked out from those details unless you move to another plan. It is for learning and clinic teaching, not for running a paying practice, and does not include client money or paid messaging. We may end access if the details given are not true.

We work to keep LawKona running and your data safe, but we do not promise any particular uptime and there is no service-level agreement unless we sign one with you. We may need to pause the service for maintenance, and we may improve, change, or remove features over time.

LawKona is provided as it is and as available. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss caused by a missed deadline or notice, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what your firm paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can stop using LawKona at any time; because payments do not renew, there is nothing to cancel. To close your chamber’s account or get a copy of your data, email support@lawkona.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other chambers at risk, or where the law requires us to.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and tell chamber principals about important changes by email before they take effect.
