Student / Clinic access

Student / Clinic is ₦0 for law students and legal clinics. You get 1–2 seats and the chamber workspace with sample templates only, so you can practise drafting, deadlines, and court notes. Client money, invoices, and paid messaging are not included. Apply with your matric number, year of admission, and student ID — we review it and open your workspace.

Pricing questions

What does “priced per chamber” mean?
You pay one price for the whole chamber, not for each lawyer. Everyone up to your plan’s seat limit works in the same workspace, and adding a colleague inside that limit costs nothing extra.
What happens when we reach a limit?
Nothing you have already added is removed. When you try to add another lawyer or property past the limit, LawKona asks you to move up a plan, and the new limits apply as soon as payment goes through.
How are notices sent on each plan?
Every plan sends reminders, tenancy notices, and rent-start messages by email, including Free. Solo, Practice, and Chambers also send tenancy notices and rent-start messages to tenants on WhatsApp, with a monthly WhatsApp allowance on each plan. By default a lawyer approves each legal notice before it goes out.
Is there a discount for paying yearly?
Yes. Paying for a year costs 20% less than twelve monthly payments.
How do we cancel?
There is nothing to cancel. Payments do not renew automatically — each one covers the month or year you chose, and you decide whether to pay again. To close your chamber’s account, email support@lawkona.com.
How is Student / Clinic access verified?
Apply with your matric number, year of admission, and student ID. Some applications are approved straight away; others are checked by our team before the workspace opens.
Can we export our data?
Yes — export matters, invoices and the trust ledger to Excel (CSV) from those screens. For a full copy, email support@lawkona.com.
Can I start for free?
Yes. Free is ₦0 for 1 lawyer and 3 properties, with email notices. No card needed.
